Rec-Line
Rec-Line is a supported recreation, leisure and holiday service for adults
who have an intellectual disability. Each month an eight page magazine
is published by Rec-Line listing all future activities and holidays with
times and costs. To
receive a copy of the magazine, contact the Rec-Line
manager. All participants must complete a registration form.

Leisure
Centre Every
Thursday evening between
4pm9pm
Leisure Centre provides the opportunity for people to relax at the end
of the day, meet with friends, share a two course meal and then listen
or dance to a DJ or live band playing hits from the 60s to the current
day.
Recreational
and Leisure Activities
Rec-Line offers a range
of supported activities every week, after work hours and on the weekends.
Participants are involved in supported activities such as, woodwork, dance
group, water aerobics and many other activities.
Activities are varied and
community-based. They are planned on the monthly basis. Examples are:
- Tenpin bowling
- Dinner at local restaurants
- Movies
- Woodwork
- Concerts
- Live bands
- Aromatherapy
- Go Karting

and more!
Holidays
Rec-Line plans holidays throughout the year, varying the destination
and accommodation to suit most people.
Cost
As our programs are not funded, activities are largely costed
on a user pays basis.
Staffing
Ratio
Rec-Line staff are part-time and casual. All outings are groups of clients
of five to ten persons; stipulated according to required support needs.
If 1:1 support is required it can be provided for an additional charge.
Volunteers
Volunteers are registered via the Oakleigh Centre Coordinator
of Volunteers. Volunteers attend most activities and holidays to provided
